I can see this having good carrover to any other pinch, you really have to press your thumb into it and put as much pressure with your fingers as you can. Silarrukov in russia sell on but this is cheaper and delivered fast. Stuff Can take months from russia. Yes i like Gods of grip, i have this and their hilt and have tried their 76mm/3" block before and they have a good texture. Ive just pre ordered one of their new Elite grippers, the number 5. Yeah those GOG grippers looked nice and I bet the #5 is no joke! Thanks for letting me know about the block texture I was worried it may resemble the Blockbuster one from IM which as we know is crazy slick. Bigfoot Grip
lift on the IM BB! You got me beat lol. Yeah I'm fairly interested in the 60mm range it seems like it might be somewhat of a natural width for my hands. I've always wondered if around 70mm would be my strongest one thing I don't like about living in North America is we use inches for the measurements so the jumps tend to be 2"-3"-4" etc. I currently own the IM BB, Arm Assassin 2H 2" & 2H 3" block. I just did an order from Silarukov and I have a 50mm & 80mm pinch block on the way, along with the 60mm rolling handle. I may scoop up a 60mm pinch block from Gods of Grip at some point. I'm hoping the 80mm silarukov has good carryover to the 3"(76mm) saxon bar & other pinch blocks. It's too bad there isn't more 70mm options from these companies overseas from me like SIlarukov, Robert Baraban, Gods of Grip etc. Edited January 17, 2022 by Bigfoot Grip

Yeah there is not much out there at 70mm. My 10kg and 15kg plates i use for pinching are 70mm total and i find that a good with. Im strongest at between 60 and 70mm i find. Something like 64-65mm may suit me very well i just dont have anything at that width. My 20kg plates are 66mm total though so once im up at 40kg on the 60mm block ill be working on pinching 2x20kg. I find any pinch carryovers over to other pinch. Its best to train a variety of widths to get your hands strong all around. Im sure if you get the GOG block you will love it.

Thanks for all the great info bro! I agree about the 80mm it will be brutal but hopefully will help with wide pinch and maybe lifting a smaller blob someday(if I find someone who has one lol). My Arm Assassin blocks are adjustable so I gave the 4" width a shot when I first bought them and man does it not feel safe. It felt like if I pushed the lift at all I would injure my thumb. The width was so huge for my hand size(roughly average) it put me in the danger zone. I can't even fathom attempting my 5" LOL! I saw some guys here can do the really wide pinching and I'm jealous as it feels like a one way trip to snap city for me haha. Hence why 80mm interested me. I find I can pinch 3"(76mm) safely and it feels like I could handle up to 3.25" safely and hopefully get great transfer over to the 3" without injury. No doubt your 60mm will help get you there to pinching 2x20kg. Interesting about your optimal pinch width because it puts you right around the 2.5" area which sort of splits the difference between thin and wide. 2x20kg plate pinch is a very huge milestone in grip no doubt. I hope to join you someday I feel like alot of us who get into grip aspire to lift 2-45lb plates or 2-20kg plates.

Agreed that 80mm will be a great width without being dangerously wide, 100mm or 4" is wide and i can manage on my 100mm block but its a real stetch and im always careful. A while back i did a 90mm 3 plate pinch with a 5kg sandwiched inbetween 2 10kgs what was difficult. Only left though. Yeah a medium width seems best for me but everyone will be different..its not just about hand size but hand anatomy, how your thumbs spread and i think pinkie length plays a part with pinch. Mine are short proportionately compared to the others, especially on my right hand. 2x20kg has always been a big goal of mine. Its the most accessible elite lift and one of the most impressive i find. You can have giant basketball players who have lifted the inch first time as their hands are huge and engulf the handle but pinch strength needs trained regardless of hand size. You will get it one day no doubt, as long as you want it bad enough. It just takes time. Grip is a marathon not a sprint for most unlelss you have mark felix sized hands.
Bigfoot Grip
Good point about huge handed individuals. I find for thick bar it has the biggest advantage. Example being Tanner Merkle's brother who is or was a spanish teacher with no grip sport experience but lifted the inch on his first try. There is another vid I watched on yt of a middle aged man who lifts the inch and seemed genuinely confused as to wether it was a big deal or not. I think I recall his profession as being a truck driver or something. Yet guys like us can train a lifetime and still fall short. I love thick bar but after training grip seriously long enough it has become aparent to me it can be severely limited by not only hand size but the structure of ones hands(small vs large thumb. finger length vs palm length etc). Not trying to make excuses either just being honest. I love grippers for this reason, at least smaller handed people can do the MMS style or a smaller set block than the IM credit card which I find quite wide. I never thought of thin and medium pinch needing more dedicated training but it makes sense. I study guys like Jerome Bloom and Matt Cannon's grip history and both are quite talented at 2H pinch yet neither have large hands. So I think your on to something here. I have no doubt you can pinch the 2x20kgs based off how strong your flask and 60mm pinch are. I like 2 hand pinch and im decent enough at it but i think working to keep pinch strength between left and right hands is the most important thing of all. I think people who do well at 2HP are fairly equal side to side.
