Great to know about the wrist wrench. I hear what you're saying about the 60mm smoking the thumb and fingers. I find it seems to work those harder than the wrist. I love the 60mm wrench for wrist curls though! Seems to provide good carryover to the regular wrist wrench deadlift. The 50mm looks like fun for an overload. 

Dude a blob 50 would be awesome. You don't look like a huge guy I would think you may be one of the lighter guys to pick it up if you're successful! I can imagine it must be quite a shock to the hands initially like you said vs say the flask which is 2.25". Seems like thumb strength can be paramount to lifting a blob 50, hope to join you someday!

 

I hear you on buying more stuff haha. I use my savings i put away to buy grip stuff, Keeps the wife happy lol. The flask is well worth the money. I want to get bodyweight and more on the 2 hand flask once ive lifted the blob. Im fairly close.

I agree Wrist curls on the ww are great move. 

Yes im 170-172lbs atm but im actually normally 165lbs. Last year with covid and lockdown here i ended up gaining useless weight. Ill be back to 165lbs soon. 

I lived a 40lb.blob a month or so a go the first time trying when i had access to one. It was easy. A 50 is another ball game though. Its not so much the extra weight but the size, its much wider and hard to get my hand around it. Also pretty slick. Ill lift it if it kills me though lol.

Nice lifts man! Haha, you will fell those deadlift reps for a week. Is the grip club more structured or just you and a friend training together? Sounds great either way!

Thanks. Oh yeah my upper back is fried today. Sore to the touch lol. Forearms smoked as well.

Its great. Its a local gym, the best in north east england and run by world class powerlifter and gripster Big Sam parker. Sam is insanely strong and a really nice guy to boot. He recently equalled brian shaws double inch incline press for 5 reps unassisted yet weights over 100lbs less than shaw. He is 5ft 9in and about 300lbs

We do whatever sam has in store for us so it changes every week. We had 4 blobs there yesteday. It was great fun and seeing sam do world class lifts right before your eyes is amazing.

Also nice work on the ironmind hub, your pretty well exactly at the threshold for the crushed to dust challenge(45lb hub requirment) problem is that damn 200lb requirement on the rolling thunder haha.
