I am cautiously optimistic and honored to be making the attempt, because (1) it is the first standardized cert I will have tried (MM0 being somewhat variable); (2) I am relatively new to the sport, although no longer a newbie so I appreciate that this is a cool cert to even have a chance at, and grateful to be trying it; and (3) this was the year I turned 50 and that Mr. Tetting passed, and certing on one of his grippers at this time would be extra meaningful.
