East Ohio Grip Championship Vol 2

Come on out to the booming metropolis of Bethesda, Ohio Saturday November 16th for year #2 of the East Ohio Grip Championship.

Not only will this contest be sanctioned by Armlifting USA but the Apollon's Axle and Little Big Horn will be fully sanctioned by Grip Sport International. 

6 events will be contested. Yes, I said 6. 

1)Silver Bullet (Ironmind) 

2)Apollon's Axle (Ironmind)

3)Rolling Thunder (Ironmind) 

4)Saxon Bar (Sorinex) 

5)Little Big Horn (Ironmind)

6)The Payne (John Oka)

All events will be last man standing

For the Silver Bullet contestants will have up to 3 attempts to register a score to their liking

The Payne will be to a 6in crossbar

There will also be a teen division

Prizes and wt class consolidation will be determined by number of entries 

All other events will be under Armlifting USA rules.

Participants will receive a tshirt. I do not have a registration cut off date yet.

@Saff looking forward to seeing this one play out- great selection of lifts. I too am curious what this Payne handle is- would you please share a picture of it?

It's a key pinch style lift connected directly to a loading pin. I'll see if I have a video of it.

Can you provide the dimensions of The Payne?  I'll build one.  I need the top width, bottom width where it touches the base plate, and length, and height.

is the 3rd the last day to register or the last day to register while receiving a T-shirt?

Hello Saff. We met at Hillbilly Hand Wars.

I would really like to enter, but I'm not sure if I will be able to make it.

The axle and little bit horn will be sanctioned by GSI? I thought it had to be 4 attempts and not last man standing. That won't affect whether I attend, just curious.

Last man standing is now permitted by GSI.
