Lennix
40 minutes ago, Hopefully said: Nah, when you adapt to the movement the weights will shoot up big time. Hopefully Hopefully! I'm not too worried actually, I have given it some thought and when I first started with the 80mm pinchblock Anton made for me I could barely lift 30 (without chalk nonetheless) but it rose very quickly to 40 and even to 45 which is a pritty good lift. But still, I have done 80kg holds for 10 seconds when I had the exact same setup but with 15kg plates xD

Mikael Siversson
It's very common to stagnate for months until it starts creeping up again. A plateau does not necessarily mean there is something wrong with the program if you see some gains in other aspects of the grip. Impatience can kill long term gains. Most can't but a few of us perform best at a fairly wide setting.

Yes but the feeling is that I'm going backwards.. so that's why I'm thinking perhaps I need to learn the lift better with more lifts. Not sure yet! 1 minute ago, Mikael Siversson said: I can pinch more on the Euro at 67mm than I can at 58 mm. Most can't but a few of us perform best at a fairly wide setting. Yea I think 1 more spacer would be good, Its at a pritty awkward spot atm.

Lennix
8mm HRS 180 or 200mm Reverse 1x DU 1x Bought 8mm HRS today and couldn't resist (shouldn't because my left hand is hurting alot) I have had some HRS 170mm home that I got from a friend but never even managed to move (any style) so bought some of my own and got both styles first attempt being very weak. So either 170 vs 180-200 was super huge or those were harder some way.
RonnieBoy
just read through basically all of this thread from the start of your journey @Lennix, great read through and pretty damn good progress! Keep it coming. Shame about that 282.5 DL, reckon it might have been there if it wasn't for the 260x3 PR beforehand.

I will Yea my 1RM has always been way higher then my estimated 1RM from reps. 260x3 tives me 287 or something so on a good day with optimal weights as warmup I'm sure 290 will be there! Altough I did them on 5-10 min but still their weak I always do my big bends first and work my way down to the easier ones, my wrists get tired very fast so its best to hit the big stuff first
