Brigsy
Hi all, Sorry if this is regularly posted. I did a search but couldn't spot anything. I was wondering if someone has curated a UK list of nails/bolts etc that can be bought over the counter from DIY shops etc to progress through the difficulty? Does such a thing exist? Cheers. Go to fat bastard barbell company buy some 3/16" round & square 1018 cold rolled steel. Make sure you bend in ironmind pads only. What are your goals as of right now? Brigsy
Hi, Well, I've snapped a few six inch nails and have a grade 5 bolt from David Horne that I can't budge yet! I'm after some cheap stock to practice on. Isn't the Fat Bastard company in the US though?

Ironmind is another option but much more expensive especially shipping cost. Edited August 12, 2019 by Danny Young
Fist of Fury
Perhaps you could try some stainless steel 6 mm in various lengths? Should be easier than the G5 bolt but significantly harder than the nails you have bent.

Brigsy
For the snapping I've been starting off over the knee, and then opening over my thigh and closing between the legs. Generally, I'm training reverse overhand, with a wrist developer.
Austin Seitter
Gods of Grip is a UK based company that has a solid list of bending progressions. Horrido is also a great option if you’re already at or nearing being able to bend a red nail.
Brigsy
Thanks. I’ve done some Horrido challenges and working my way down the Gods of Grip list. Very handy!
