Is this open to anyone or do you need to qualify first or anything like that?

Won't be an issue for me but I have a feeling that top end gap could cause unnecessary ties depending on who shows up. 2 or 3 grippers between 150 and 175 might eliminate multiple ties.

Tank - do you think there is any way you can get Arm Lifting qualifying lift opportunities at your event (Silver bullet, Saxon bar, Rolling Thunder, Axle)?  Chris had it at the last one, but it may only have worked out because Mike Saffell was able to attend.  I ask because I am interested in trying to qualify for the worlds in Russia, and there is a qualifying arm lifting event on the same day as Gripmas.  Gripmas is my preferred venue, so if you had arm lifting qualifier capability, it would be a no-brainer.  If not, I may still attend Gripmas but I'd have to consider where I am in the arm lifting rankings and whether there are any other qualifiers available that I can attend.  I don't mean to suggest you should bend over backwards for this or anything; but if it is something that would be doable as long as someone was willing to observe and approve any qualifying lifts, or even if they could be submitted on video, or something like that, it might not be a big deal to get done.

(bumping this in case it is of interest)

Just exploring options for 2019 Gripmas.  Is anyone west of me going to Gripmas and will be coming through Zanesville, Ohio on Interstate 70.  If I could hitch a ride I might be able to go - not to compete but to watch.  I'd certainly split expenses etc.  Not sure yet if I can go or not - we'll see

I may do the gripper event. still recovering from hand surgery. Anyone have anything between 150-160 rate by Jedd or Cannon they can bring (Would like to keep with the same raters for comparability)?

I will bring my COC 3s rated 150 and 153 by CPW, and I am returning Tim's COC 3 rated 160 to him at Gripmas, if he wishes to let it be used there he can of course do so (but I do not know who rated that one).

While we are at it, I am interested in grippers in the 130s for TNS -- the GHP 6 rated 133 that Tank lists is probably harder than a COC 2.5 of similar rating because of GHP spreads, and although I am not looking for an RB narrow, I'd rather not be going for a PR with a gripper that is HARDER than the norm.  I have a COC 2.5 rated 132 that I can bring.  If anyone has a COC in the mid 130s that would be cool for a 4th attempt if I make the 132 or 133.

Bacon. Do we need to do anything prior to sign up or just show up and be all set?

I truly regret being unable to make this. I'm going to see my family and do a strongman contest in Buffalo - I didn't realize the dates conflicted until it was too late.

I will push an extra log rep in your honor.

It’s like gun porn, Tank! You can never see enough guns and never enough grip tools!
