67.9 lbs Shallow Dubhub

Mike Rinderle

Recommended Posts

Started my training for KING KONG today.  PR on the shallow Dubhub.  This is a little higher than the #1 on Barrel Strength's website, but I think Tanner  @Boulderbrewand 1 or 2 people on InstaMyFace have done 70lbs.  Been awhile since I touched it, so pretty darn happy.  Might have had another pound or two in me, but I need to toughen up the skin first.  Trying to avoid all these nagging skin tears.

I can see that I'm going to have to challenge you to a high rep curl while in ketosis competition. 💪👊

Great lift bud.

Nice job, Mike! That’s big weight!!

Tried this stupid device once at Jedds. I rank it in the same category as a stub! Not exciting at all. Wish it wasn’t in KK. Last years events were the best ones so far, IMO. Would be enough for me not to do KK. 😂

Bite your tongue!  Finally a light lift I'm decent at.  Beats the moon drop and flub by a mile.

Nooooo moon top is pretty good! Has carryover to grippers and blobs IMO... dub hub? Not so much of anything.

Vertical lifts.  You'd be great at it if you practiced a lil.

That implement makes my finger hurt just looking at it! What an insane lift!

I don't even like to work with "hubs" because all my plates have small hubs and I thought I had an excuse for not lifting any weight on them

But this...this is nuts...

Haha.  I hate hubs too.  But at least the rules on this one allow you to grip it any way you want to.

Damn, this is a good lift, Mike.

Thanks Anthony!  Hopefully I can add 5 - 10 lbs before KK.  I think the winner of this event will be close to 35 kg.
