Holy crap.  710 flies up.  I think he'll break the record in June.

His spotter Thomas Davis competed some weeks ago in world championship classic bench  and set a new world record in the IPF with 300kg. Just missed 318kg in his third go (700lbs)

Yea, that's some pressing power right there!  Get em a double bench and a long bar!

He was SO close with the ATWR.  This has to be the most impressive bench I have ever seen.

Yea, the 723 flew up.  Barring injury, I think the ATWR is his next go.

In fact, I think he'd have it now had he had it on the bar for the 723 attempt.  Just incredible.

Josh Bryant is the world's best bench press coach, there's no contest. And Julius will have the all time WR very, very soon.

I wish Kirill would have continued competing. I believe he had the ability to set the record to a point out of reach for any current lifter. I still believe he’s the strongest bencher ever, even if Maddox breaks his record.

Could be.  We'll never know.  Although he is still young.  He could make a comeback.  He may be the smart one.  All these guys seem to keep pushing until they have a very bad injury, which ends it for them.

610x8?  Ummm...wow.

I know 1rm calculations aren't super accurate, but that works out to 757 for a max.  🤯

Man I hope he stays injury free long enough to take this record.

In my 40 years in the iron game, the best bench press set of all time that I can recollect. Probably easily the best I have ever seen.

Julius is the strongest bench presser in the world, coached by the world's best bench press coach (no discussion) Josh Bryant.

If he can avoid injury, he'll push the record well past 750.

100%, I think Kiril also has 750+ if he wants to come back.

Agreed.  I'd like to see them go head to head in a race to 800.

What he does to the 150s in the middle of this light recovery workout is illegal in 47 States.

Barring something weird, the record falls at Boss of Bosses on August 31.  The speed on this 655 triple is insane.
