Mike Rinderle
Jedd and Luke said it's the worst they've ever seen. No warning. Halfway up with two 25kg plates sandwiching a 45. Had 5 lbs added to each side to make up the difference since we didn't have a 3rd 25 kg plate. Gonna be tough to train before NAGS. Was going up fairly easy and then I felt the skin just start peeling so I aborted. Lol

They just tear like crepe paper. Edited May 16, 2019 by Mike Rinderle

Adam Juncker
Honestly, I would back off the 4-5x per day on the working hands. I used it regularly during the winter and I had issues similar to yours. It made me feel like the epidermis was sliding over the dermis (if that makes sense). I only use it a few times a week now and haven't had a skin tear in a long time. Although, I admit, I'm not as hard-core as you.

David_wigren
Lame. I remember when dudes used to pop nails through their palms while bending barehanded. 2

Pretty sure that's what toughened Tommy's hands when he was bending lots and punching his thumb through cans. Not sure I'd want to be doused in penetrants though. Not too good for you.

Adam Juncker
Brake cleaner is bad for you. Don't put it on your skin. Chemicals like acetone absorb directly into your body and go straight to your organs. Just do what I did: I started stealing my wife's hair-skin-and nails vitamins. Now I have tough skin and luscious locks of hair. 1
