It was a 8 kg from perform better and once filled was 112 lb I think. It felt incredibly heavy for such a relatively small thing to weigh so much

20.2.20

didn't plan on training but did. Was correct decision

body weight 223 lb

blue fatgripz doh deadlift

225-1, 275-1, 315-1, 335-1, 355-1, 375-1, 405-1-3 fail at the knee. Thought I had it today because 375 so easy. Probably a good day to have tried 395-400

2.5” x 5” fbbc Saxon pinch

193-1, 233-1, 243-1, 253-1, 263-1, 273-1, 283-1-7 6 partials and one to a near contest lock out. 288-1 lift to the knee.

20 minutes mobility then 5 hspu practice only had a few singles floor was packed at the gym. It’s not safe for these zombies to be so close when I kick up because I’m not skilled enough to ensure I wouldn’t plow right through them. In 5 years of hand balancing at commercial gyms I’ve kicked 3 people in the face and it’s never cool.

Training is on point. Weight gain was Eric & Tommy’s encouragement and it’s been very productive. I’m pretty sure I’ll lift this season in 110 kg.

Nice work on the HSPU's! I've been taking my time with them. I'm working on my wrist flexibility before I start to try the free standing stuff. I just don't think my wrists would support my bad form just yet if I had to bail on one. I don't know if its just me getting used to it or not, but man, after I do HSPU's my fat-grip and saxon bar work suffer pretty bad. Its like my hands and wrists are smoked. I know I will get stronger in due time but it was a real surprise to me how much they fatigued my hands and wrists.

Yes mine get the same way. It’s a very high load on the palm and fingers. Take your time. I began training this in 2014 and it didn’t get comfortable for the first year abouts. Even now it takes me 15 minutes to get properly warmed up to hit push ups. Of all my fitness pursuits hand balancing is the most stimulating.

I realize everyone says start on the wall but I disagree. The wall work will not help as much as learning to free balance from the start.

The pike push up with elbows tracking to the rear is probably the best assistance exercise for free hspu.

The benefits & pay off is tremendous. For the last 6 months I have used this as primary upper body exercise (on top of many deadlift variations) and my shoulders & arms grown much

I've been doing the Pike Pushup with feet on the floor and elevated also. I think I'm starting to get the hang of them. You have to create a triangle between your hands and where your head makes contact and then drive back toward the shoulders.

18.3.20

feeling smashy and possibly karachi. bw 223 lb

lift at the edge, possibly the last time for a while?

Arm assassin wrist wrench thumbless up to 93.5 lb

Overhand wrist wrench to 106.5 lb

Sullys anvil - looks like one of Moby Dicks teeth. Up to 205 lb hard af maybe 3.6” diameter? Lucas May know

the winner of winners Double overhand axle Thumbless up to 400 lb. David Horne’s list only tracks 20” lift not to lockout- I’m positive I can smash 410 lb right now to a 20” marker. My man in OR Michael Thomas and I said we would race back in August I think? Took me 9 months (July to today) but I  happy to cross the finish line. Now I’m racing to 440 lb.

Blue fatgripz doh 315-1, 365-1, 375-1

Hornes adjustable thick bar (using biggest of the three bars) up to 307 lb. what a natural event for me! Riccardo Magni sent me this yesterday and I think it will be a staple in my 2020 training year. Really fun griptopz allowing you to pile on the plates.

Elbow pain improving everyday. When I get this straight you’ll see a 455 dohA to lockout within a week of pain elimination im right there

final thoughts I got my wife diamond ear rings for our 3rd year anniversary and today she got me a mossburg Shockwave. Win win
