That is some serious Hook training! I'd be interested to know what you do for your AW specific training.

Specifically it will be for the first few months getting my butt to practice and doing my table time there with live humans. That will be more than sufficient to increase strength. My other training days more centered on kettlebell lifts, carrying stuff around and my favorite arm lifts

Yeah, I try to never miss table time at our weekly practice. I'm trying to figure out what works best for me off of the table. Just want to get stronger.

1 Oct 20

the amazing thing of the day - Academy actually had plates for sale. Limited only 2 per size and only having 25 & 10 I was happy to walk away with 70 lb. I did put up a big amazon order for cables and one of those 80 kg power twisters

session in evening - boring medley of cable pulls and shoulder mobility. Both wrists extremely sore from yesterday.

Yep that post of mine was a bit retarded. I have definitely changed my mind regarding the efficiency of thickbar training.

I just like seeing this as time goes forward - what was true then clearly as true in this very week my friend -

  • 2 weeks later...

Thank Last 10 days not so fun but i train every week no matter the the crisis or tragedy

King King 2020 went good - I did minimal prep and hit my target numbers fairly accurately. 3rd for 105 kg & 14th overall. Lifting 260 to lockout on lbh the highlight even if didn’t get the points.

Arm wrestling practice goes fantastic it’s a high light of every week.

Tremendous all-around hand and wrist strength! That Keypinch was EASY for you with 130lb with your name on it!
