The lying snap is tough! You should give it a try, it’s fun. David came up with it thinking about training for BJJ.

Jikes, no wonder they felt so tough. That’s almost closer to a 6” red than a regular G8 if I remember my numbers correct. Very hard with Hornes thin wraps touching in the middle.

Solid work Don!

Thanks David! They are definitely mutant bolts. You did great this comp! If you took any photos of you bending or your steel, please send them to me and I will add them to the bending contest book I made.

Congrats Don!  The events for this contest were very, very difficult.  And like Anton wrote, back-to-back bending comps is pretty brutal.  I did some medium bending throughout the week and everything was still feeling beat-up.

Thanks guys! It was a real honor to be picked for this contest. Reuben, David Wigren, Zsolt and Iron Stan are all beasts.  The steel was brutally hard. I am very happy to place 3rd and medal in the event. David said he made medals with Alexander Zass on them. Should be cool.
