Wednesday 11/5

2" Napalms Nightmare: 185x5, 245x5, 285x3, 320x3, 345x3, 370x1, 397x1 (10# PR)

So happy with NN PR. Haven't used it since spring time.

Yesterday

Barbell single arm floor press: With blue fatgripz: 55x7, 75x10, 95x5, 100x5, 100x5

Oly bar chest curls: 25mm bar: 95x7, 125x7, 145x5, 145x5, 145x5

BSS Tips Tester: 142x5, 167x3, 192x3, 217x3, 242x3, 252x1

Second time using the tips tester, really loving it. With some grip implements I do better with lots of reps before a top set or PR. Not with this, my finger tips were so roasted by the last set.

Moved my gym back to the basement from the garage. Workouts are getting so much better, I hate my garage. It's way too stressful to work out in.

Third time using Tips Tester. Need to be careful. Starting to hurt my right middle finger, nothing else bothers it though so that’s good.

  • 2 weeks later...

Have been slacking logging training sessions. But have had a couple recent PRs.

397 on 2” round Napalms Nightmare and yesterday 190 on 4” pinch Napalms Nightmare. Both 10# PRs.

Last night 305x1 fatgripz original conventional deadlift. 15# PR. Probably haven’t tried this in a year. Got 315 to knees but dropped it.

4 straight workouts and 4 PRs. A great stretch for me.

Haven’t really been logging things lately.

Decided to take underhand bending seriously, I really do not enjoy overhand bending (for now).

Bent DUH 1/4 x 6 grade 2 bolt and 3/16 x 6 CRS taped together the other day (in FBBC suedes). For a while I’ve struggled to find things to bend that would be really hard but doable. This was just what the Dr ordered. Up until now everything was only moderately hard or impossible.

Also benched 245x3 with 2” axle the other day. Had a 1 or 2 reps left in me. I can honestly say I think I’ve done the traditional flat bench like twice in my life (despite lifting for a long time) so I was happy with this.

Also goy a safety squat bar for my birthday. Squatting is another thing I hate. This thing is damn hard and will hopefully rid me of my weak quads.

Mini workout today.

4” Napalms Nightmare pinch: 150x7

PR is 180, kinda wish I did less reps and tried for a new one.

Got a new toy today.

2” ASSS 1H thumb blaster: 72x1R

Thing is hard. Will probably get better at it when that area of skin toughens up. Also, somewhat wish I got the 1 5/8” version.
