2”x4” Napalms Nightmare: 115x7, 150x5, 175x5, 185x5, 185x9, 195x7

Much better day than yesterday, no idea what was wrong with me.

Did 185x9 thinking it was 195, was so pissed when I found out. But then did 195x7 right after that so I was happy again. PR last week was 215x1.

2.5" Trilobite: 105x3, 125x2L/3R, 145x0R

2" Trilobite: 145x3L/5R, 155x3, 170x1R, 155x3L, 180x2R (5 lb PR), 155x3L, 185x0R, 155x3L/5R

Lots of barbell floor presses and ez curl bar sets and reps before, no thick handles. Didn't keep track of numbers.

Couldn't get anything done with 2.5" Trilobite so I switched to 2" and got a PR, definitely didn't see that coming.

2”x4” Napalms Nightmare: 115x7, 140x7, 165x5, 190x3, 200x1, 210x1, 220x1.5, 225x1 (10 lb PR), 190x5

Really sore from yesterday so really happy with today. Tried one set of the 4” side of the pinch blocks, 115x5 was pretty easy but my grip was smoked so I stopped.

2.5" Trilobite: 105x5, 120x3, 120x3L/5R

2"x4" Napalms Nightmare (4" side): 115x5, 125x3, 135x2, 145x1, 155x2, 160x3 (PR)

Starting to see a pattern of why I can't do anything on the 2.5" Trilobite. Since I've gotten, and used a lot, the NN pinch blocks I've sucked at it. Even with 2 days in between. Going to put Trilobite first then pinch second, maybe the next day or a day in between.

Happy with 4" NN pinch, only tried 115 previously. Made sure to not hook fingers and thumbs under losing a bit of skin contact, probably can do more on 3"x4" blocks.

Second workout today.

3” Trilobite: 57x5, 82x3, 92x3, 102x1, 112x0R, 107x2R, 92x10L, 102x2R, 97x6R

2” axle floor press, ez bar curls and 2” handle farmers carries before

2” axle Pendlay row: 140x7, 160x7, 190x5, 200x5, 140x10

3” axle deadlift: 155x3, 175x1, 185x1, 195x1, 205x1, 215x0, 210x0, 205x1, 175x4

2” axle thumbless reverse curls: 55x7, 75x5, 75x5, 75x5, 75x5

Once again got greedy with 3” axle. Could have had a PR at 210 but I went for 215 instead first then failed them both (got up to knees). Haven’t done a deadlift with it since April 3rd so tying my PR is good I guess.

Doh bb holds ~5 secs: 245, 295, 355, 405, 455

2"x4" NN (2" side): 150x5, 175x3, 195x1, 215x1, 230x0, 225x0

Was feeling great this morning, wanted 230 so bad on NN, got it off the ground but couldn't get it past knees (didn't drop it though). Probably would have been a great PR if I didn't train yesterday evening.

Yesterday AM

2 3/8" Napalms Nightmare: 145x5, 170x5, 235x5, 260x1, 285x1, 305x1, 330x0

Yesterday evening

2 3/8" Napalms Nightmare: 235x5, 260x5, 285x3, 310x1, 320x1, 330x0

Zercher good mornings: 5x5 @ 155

IM hub: 41x5, 51x3, 56x1, 61x1, 66.7x1R (7 lb PR with right hand), 64.2L

First time using 2 3/8" NN, was hoping for a bit more but didn't happen. Excited to use it more. Back was bothering me the past few days but Zercher gm's seemed to cure it and make my spinal erectors really sore this morning. Also, not sure when my right hand became stronger on the hub than my left but it happened.

Thanks, hadn’t done any grip stuff since Friday. Seems the less I do the better I get.

Struggling like crazy lately, terrible workouts. I think Tuesdays farmers carries killed me for the week.

6 days in a row using Trilobite, rotating through the 2”, 2.5” and 3” handles (switch each day). Today is my first day off.

Did sets throughout the day, at least 7 sets of 3 with each hand (some days more sets, probably 10+). Using ~75% of max (147, 112 and 77#).

Also do 3 reps of either strict axle press or Pendlay rows after. Elbows feel surprisingly good and they don’t always.

Hands are pretty achy today but the weather is also cold and raw after being awesome for the past few weeks so I think that’s playing a part.

I think I will add 2 reps per set and do sets of 5, keep the weight the same but do every other day. I like this way of training.
