Mywor
Harri retakes his place as the Hub king with "traditional" finger position. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bt4L0DeBKDi/?utm_source=ig_share_sheet&igshid=731a2tdfvett
wobbler
Very impressive. Don't want to start in here, theres already that other hub rules thread, but pinky is very clearly not touching the base plate at the start of the lift. Still looks fine to me, just not strictly following the ironmind "rules." I'm going to stop worrying about my pinky from now on. Mywor
Didn't look for the pinkey and I only saw the lift from his left side. Can't say for a 100% that his pinkey isn't touching the base at all from this picture either. I'm not claiming that it is either. I always try to get my pinkey to touch the base when I start lifting, but it sure does stop touching it the second I start lifting. Start position for everyone. wobbler
It's pretty clear in the video, pinky touches the base at some point, but comes off a full second or more before the actual lift starts. Like I said, looks good to me. No funny business there just strength.

John McCarter
Congratulations to Harri Tolonen. The record is safe in your hands, for the time being.
Hubgeezer
I can't tell about the thumb or the pinky. If the judges gave it to him, and they know the rules, based on the video, if I was RJ Strossen I would have approved it. He certainly lifted it high enough. Hartsavain
Hello guys. Sorry i didnt lift it as nicely that i liked to do. I have problem with chest/shoulder area, and it makes my grip hard to get. To get more straighten fingers, shoulder needs to go front . I had to improvise litle bit and learn new way to lift in this competition. Thumb goes litle sideways because it is so long. For pinky i learned mark that when it touches than i pull right away, It has no role for this event. I promise nicer style next time i compete

I was curious about your style. I thought maybe it was a weird "Bird Box Challenge" type deal with the Hub.
