Thoughts on Sidewinder 1.5" vs 2"

Anyone tried both thicknesses have an opinion on which is more effective? Ive heard people getting superior wrist rolling results with a smaller bar, but also with a thicker bar. I have decent sized hands so don't want something too small but at the same time 2" feels like it might impede the rotation action a little. My goal is hypertrophy.

Thoughts?
