Huh, I've done 275 in the same manner to lockout and broke 3 plates off the ground, I should give this suitcase between the legs style a try

(Front and no hook). I've done 350 to the front with a hook, but I don't think I ever tried more than 250 with just an overhand grip. If you could do 315 w/o a hook grip, that would be awesome!

I dont use hook for anything. I know two people with nerve damage due to heavy hook grip. I only played around with the lift for a couple workouts after deadlift a couple years ago. Tommy J. 2,888 Posted January 23 Heres 315 no hook jeans and shit in my pockets and all that. This bar was slightly bent tho
king crusher 449 Posted January 23 (edited) Nice. A bend will for sure help. The couple times I messed with those I was at the gym and did put a bit of chalk on my hand but there was none on the bar. Is that bar smooth or knurled in the center. Mine were smooth Edited January 23 by king crusher

Tommy J. 2,888 Posted January 23 I also braced my off hand on my knee on that. But at the time i was more concerned just with proving i could hold on to it. I prolly still to this day would brace with my offhand on a 1 hand dead

devinhoo 21 Posted January 23 That’s amazing. I just tried this the other day and barely got 225. Hook grip or no that’s still a heck of a lot.

Tommy J. 2,888 Posted January 23 3 hours ago, Lennix said: That's just crazy weight! What's you PB Double overhand? My deadlift is horrid. So i cant say what i might hold onto on an oly bar DO. My left hand lags tho.. so it wont match my right. Given how much my left lags, I assume i can hang onto high 400s DO, but cant deadlift that yet to say for sure.
