230 pounds on 2.5 inch FBBC jug

Oh I kinda like the jug!  And 230 is a great lift!  My PR is 157.  And if I were to invoke the body weight comparison that sparked our last friendly exchange, I'd probably fall on my own sword -- because I am lifting about 10% below body weight on the jug, and I bet you are getting closer to your body weight than 10% on it.  Will you be doing King Kong?

Of course I will be doing King Kong. God willing. I am hoping for at least 250 then.

Strong lift Joe.  Can't be many people doing that kind of weight on that thing.

You're gonna get that 250 at the comp, and I am gonna make 175, deal?  So which venue will you hit?  Anton will be having one in Queens if you want to make that trip.

Nice lift Joe! How are you training your v-bar?

Once per week. I warm up with 3 45s for a set of 12 then add another plate for a few sets of 5 and then keep adding until I can’t lift it anymore. I do it after my crusher training. Who knows? I may be capable of more since I do it after 5 sets of crusher.

How far do you think this event can be pushed? Your already exceeded what I thought would be the top lifts.

Thanks brother. I know @Lucasraymond and @Boulderbrew are also Doing this much and more but I don’t know of anyone else. I think 300 is achievable eventually. I am hoping for 250 at King Kong. I love the device.

I pulled 275 the other day, but I know Thomas Larsen has a buddy who wants to remain ankonymius that pulled over 300 on his first try. The top lifts will easily be over 300
