DAVE101
I was digging through some old forum posts (York Barbell club on BodyBuilding.com), and I found some interesting material. The first is essentially a time-lapse of the different generations of deep dish plates from the 1930s (left) to the 1960s (right). The odd one sticking up is the ultra-rare 75 lb DD plate (vintage buff @James Fuller has a pair I believe). This next one was a 1974 published feat of perhaps the first ever 2x45 deep dish pinch. The narrow milled yorks had just come out a few years earlier. Photos courtesy of dexter000 Edited June 21, 2018 by DAVE101 9

Florian Kellersmann
Very interesting. I was wondering who else besides Richard Sorin did this pinch feat in the earlier days.
Florian Kellersmann
The 75 lbs plate would be a cool hub plate!
