Donc101
The Mad Scientist of Grip! A really cool idea. Let us know how training goes with this.

Andrew Dube
Another great idea and video Adam! The adjustable length is very clever. I think instead of cheater bars though, you should call them frugal bars or something similar.
richcottrell
just re-watched this video. do you think something similar could work for people bending rectangular stock? and could something like this also work for reverse bending short steel? Buccos1
Adam - That is a great idea! I cut all of my steel with a chop saw and have had a ton of wasted sections that could have been saved over the years. Very cool!

Is this supposed to be some kind of challenge? At least make it difficult. 1

I've put adjustable gripper handles on a short piece of 1/4" for reverse, it worked OK but long term would probably mess up the handles, so nothing to write home about. Great idea here Adam! Great idea here Adam! I have also thought about using Megalodon handles to do something like this. I honestly think that if you took the time to make sure the set screws were tight it would be just fine and not tear them up.
