Hubgeezer
From today's IronMind News: http://ironmind.com/news/Bojan-Pejic-Certifies-on-the-Captains-of-Crush-No.-3-and-No.-3.5-Grippers/ One very tall 33 year old Swedish fellow certifying on the Number 3 AND Number 3.5 on the same day. Impressive as hell in my book.

Fist of Fury
I bet he has Croatian parents? Croatia have a lot of tall people. I wish he would go for the #4 cert. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like he is, based on the interview.

Chez
2.06 meters tall. That is a mountain of a man. Crazy impressive certing both the same day.
Climber028
I might be naive, but is this actually harder than just doing a 3.5? If you're that strong then wouldn't certing a 3 be no big deal?
Hubgeezer
Looks like Puscasu certed on the 3 in 2008 and the 3.5 was in 2010.

This also happens with the mash monster certs where someone certs them quickly in succession. or the ironmind certs where someone does a no set or CCS reps. It really means they waited longer than they had to and were over prepared. I have always said that. Its still impressive though. I have always told people to be prepared but not wait too long since you can get injured at any moment and the cert never happens. Look at me with my bicep tear. I had to train my butt off for two years to get back and there was no guarantee it would happen. Edited May 15, 2018 by Chez
David_wigren
Didn’t Rich Williams cert both on the 3 and the 3.5 on the same day?
Vinnie
I think it is almost silly to cert the 3 if you certed the 3.5. Do they even leave your name on the list for the 3? Anyone who can credit card set even an easier 3.5 can probably TNS a hard 3 and rep it a couple of times too. A 3.5 on average is about as much harder than a 3 as a 3 is harder than a 2.5. I can barely MMS a 3, and I can TNS and rep a 2.5. So I am very impressed by his or anyone closing a 3.5, but knowing he can do the 3 also, um, duh. Right? When I certed the 3, I was able to get like 7 straight CCS singles each training session with a 150ish 3 and I wasn't close to certing the 3.5. the 3 cert was a warm up for him that day.
wobbler
If he happened to fail the 3.5, at least his name would be on the 3 list. Don't think there is much more to it than that.

That is what Mike brought up. he was very over prepared for the 3 so he figured he would give the 3.5 a shot also and that makes sense since the judge is there anyway. I don't see at as better than just a 3.5 cert though. Edited May 15, 2018 by Chez

Hubgeezer
You guys are correct. Rich Williams did it at the 2009 Arnold. Both the 3 and the 3.5...

He did along with Brian Shaw (who at that time wasn't as strong). Brian attempted the #3.5 and didn't get it (maybe super hard #3.5 or just not strong enough). He was super close. But no is a no. Same time Rich did it. Dunno who did first though.

Yes, Rich first man in history he can cert on 3 and 3.5 one day. Plus lift Circus Dumbbell ? On the same day? This is most likely. Arnold 2009 was on only March 6 and 7. Notice that all three of these guys are: a) Monster Sized b) Extremely Strong, and c) Well, I was going to say 3.5 Certified Closers, but I am wrong, only Tex and Rich are, Brian is merely a 3 Certified Guy and multiple World's Strongest Man Winner.
