Mike Rinderle
Thanks Chez! Wasn't planning on even trying this. I had just thrown a couple of steaks on the grill and got an idea. I had never seen a vid of a 2HP with a 45 and a 100lb Plate. So of course I ran over to the shed to try it. That went up so easy, I thought why not? 60 seconds later I was doing this. Happened so fast, I didn't have time to psych myself out and the steaks still came off the grill rare! Here's the 2hp. 45 / 100 lb plate pinch.

I have to say, I've never seen a 100 plate let alone tried to lift a 100 and a 45, but it seems to me that a 100 and a 45 with 2 hands would be much easier (I use the term relatively) than 2 45s with 1 hand. But never having done either, congrats on both!
David_wigren
Hell yes Rindo! I’d say that was a legit lift. Lifting two 45’s is one of my ultimate goals of grip! I’ve gotten them to hop, but still miles away from a full lift. Edited April 9, 2018 by David_wigren

Never really trained it specifically enough until now. With your strength and determination, I bet you could do it in pretty short order if you concentrated on it.

Probably because the 100 has a slick enamel coating that won't hold chalk and the extra 10 lbs. Thanks for checking it out.

I would challenge you to some sort of race... but I would just loose pinch is really not my forte
Lucasraymond
Congrats Mike...good to see all the pinching paying off. Training for the Philly Fit we have been doing a lot of wide pinch and I have been making great progress with both 3" width but also 4" width.
