Trying to get my thickbar up with the thoroughbreds in this class. It’s slowly improving as im adding a lot more thumbless and holds into my training

Here are Jedd’s and my attempt from this morning....who wants to time for me?

April Rolls- Luke & Jedd

The forward roll felt impossible.  Backhand, not so bad.

I keep getting a slightly longer time for your attempt then Kluv recorded. I am going to use 18.93 seconds for your attempt but will review it if another attempt is posted with a similar time.

Absolutely smoking fast btw.

I would need an hourglass timer:) nice way of saying that I don't have that ability. However, cool thing about Gripboard is that one can utilize variety of grip movements, etc and I will be doing these going forward.

Do you not have the equipment or are you injured? Or did you try it and know you are over a minute?

I did not try but I know my time would be bad. Jared made this wrist roller for me a time back and I can only do 50lbs so 120lbs would be nearly impossible. Starting June, I will be doing them on end of barbell

To anyone who thinks they can’t video without the correct equipment or a camera person, this is my super fancy recording set up.

And would someone be so kind as to judge my fresh attempt below?

As we roll into the final weekend some burning questions beg to be answered.

will we see a women’s champion?

what happened to the New York crew? @Chez @Vinnie @Anthony C. @Jose Cabrera @Anton.Torrella @crushonomics (Yep, I just called you guys out 😉)

Can anyone catch @Lucasraymond?

Will @Jedd Johnson really take 5th place?

We will have to wait and see!

Well placed call out! I have a 7ft piece of 1.5" black pipe (1.92 OD) with rope running through a hole I drilled in the middle that I usually place in my squat rack and roll it up and down - is this set up ok to use or should I cut another piece of pipe and put it over a thinner rod so that it completely free floats like I've been seeing in the other guys video?

Except that we won't be getting together for a couple of weeks - might be too late!
