Eric Roussin
Multiple grippers will be available. Any hold withe a stronger gripper counts for more points than holds done on easier grippers. The hardest gripper used last year was a #3. We haven't yet discussed if we'll do the same this year or offer harder grippers as well. Shoggoth
Having to change the Edmonton venue to the 9th as it’s conflicting with a local strongman comp. where a lot of my competitors are.

Everything else shouldn’t be a problem.

Eric Roussin
I’m hoping a few Americans will come up for this event. Last year’s contest was very competitive. Top three finishers in every class will win a miniature anvil!

I just purchased a 2 inch Titan fitness handle to simulate it. Or is the FBBC one 2.25? Joe

Guest
@Eric Roussin is the 2 inch crusher a 6 inch lift like at King Kong? Or are they all to lockout? Just thought of that.

Guest
Is everyone psyched for the Cross Canada grip competition? I am! I am sick today but I am coming whether I feel good or not! So who all is attending? Hope to see everyone and more that I met in July! Everyone have a safe trip and GOOD LUCK!!! Joe
Eric Roussin
I’m psyched! We’re expecting approximately 30 competitors across all three venues. It might not seem like it based on the activity on this thread, but that’s simply because most of the competitors aren’t active on the GripBoard.
