Donc101
The unbraced nail snaps felt good today and I finished up my workout with 10 of them in a row. Most I had done before was 5. Great finisher to strengthen the hands and build hand toughness and endurance.

Donc101
Anyone bent the steel from Grip e Bend Italia? I recieved an order today. All of my focus is on the Michigan Steel Bending and Breaking Championship and the Steel Shredder King’s Shield contest. Thus, I have not been doing much DO at all. Most of the bars I got are big DO bars. I will probably wait until this summer to give them a go, when I am hitting DO hard again. I did get some bars to try for reverse. The steel looks great and I love the tags on it. Cool shirt too.
Donc101
Good day of bending. I did my first GBI bar. The 120 kg bar reverse. Lots of snapping today. Beat the hands up quite a bit.
Donc101
My body felt beat up today and my normal bending training for the 2 comps in May was sucking so I switched up and just had a fun day of scrolling, tearing cards and doing some other stuff I normally don’t do a lot of. Here is a scroll I did today.

I'm back at DU bending and long bar. I think I'm going to go for some Grip bend Italia once I build up my strength. I see you grabbed some bars from them, How did the bars feel? Here is the one I received for the reverse cert I did.
Donc101
I did some tearing last night and shot a quick video. I am doing a strongman performance at my daughter's school Friday, so I am sharpening up some of the feats I will do. Here is the video. casino card tearing.MOV
NealB
I think I might try to tackle the ironmind red double underhand on David Hornes page. Have you tried this yet?

Have you tried this yet? With his rules, the pads must be touching. I can’t do a red nail DU like that. Very elite bend. You should go for it. I bet you would get it with dedicated training, you have a lot of DU power.
Donc101
Strongman performing for kids is one of my absolute favorite things to do. They have a blast and get pumped up. I had a good performance today that was really focused on motivating the kids to chase their dreams. Fun times. Here are some photos. The guy I am holding up is the principal, he did not want to do it at first, took some convincing.

I.e. is that 120kg bar about equivalent to a 265-pound bar (like a 60D)?

I don’t think FBBC has ever calibrated steel, but I know the range of calibrations you are talking about. No, the numbers don’t work out like those calibration numbers. This bar was much harder than a 265 lb bar in the other calibration method. This was maybe about a little harder than 1/4” Square.
Donc101
My oldest girl’s birthday party today. 12 oval nails snapped unbraced. DC1 horseshoe. 21.5” x 12 mm braced snap. Grade 5 Bolt snapped lying down.

That exact bar is an event in Steel Shredder Kings Shield. Thus, I am going to keep my current time to myself until the event is done.
