Grip well and live easy my friend! Thank you everyone! I know this isn't as impressive as say closing a Mash Monster Level 1, but I'm working up to that even as we speak. Grip hard and live easy everyone!

I have never done (or tried) a GHP7. I have one new in the package that I have been waiting to open until I can do a little stronger close, because I figured I'd make an attempt to cert it on vid. Right now, unless I am just lucky and it is an easy one, I'd likely fail that. My best close ever so far is 149 and they average about 150 I believe. I'd suggest you try it out anyway, because if there's one thing I've learned from training with heavy hand grippers, it's that the sharper the knurling is on the gripper, the better your close will be. The Captains Of Crush grippers that are being sold these days -- as much as I love them -- do not possess the same qualities as the older models. Now I have four COC #3's, three of them are more recent models [one of them is rated by Cannon at 153 lbs] and the fourth is a much older model. If there's one very noticeable difference, it's the sharpness of the knurling; I have a much easier time closing the older model, because my fingers aren't slipping from the handles as easily as the newer models, which feel mild in comparison. The GHP grippers do not have this problem, so give it a try, see if it works for you and train well. Grip hard and live easy my friend! I have a GHP 6 rated 129 that I find a little easier than my COC 2.5 rated 129.
