anyone on the board make homemade hand grippers with big springs? Ive talked to few guys and think the ones who were recommended aren’t doing it anymore or don’t do big springs .

@acorn made one for me this year with a FBBC spring. It was pretty heavy and he can adjust the set depth to make it stronger or weaker. Also, they still sell Tetting grippers that go up to Thor and Hercules.

Springs I still have that are big are the:

5X .290

1P .313 Parallel

2P .359 Parallel

oh for reference a COC 3.5 is .276"

I can't get the handle made myself. You will have to talk with Aaron about that, like we did for@acromegaman

What poundage and spread are you looking for? At this point I'm curious.

One thing I have found is that there seems to be only select wire diameters available.  There might not be a spring in that range.  That would be something to research.

It's right between 000 and 0000 gauge so it's not going to be easy to find off the shelf

I just figured out that the k2 400 was adjustable I just adjusted it to max so it should be in that range now or more LoL. I plan to attack it this coming Tuesday morning .

Well It didn’t make it go way up but still in the range was looking for .

I didn’t have the strap all the way on the edge so it may be just a tad heavier

it made the spread narrower so probably will be easier to train with I hope 😂

Used raw weight with loading pin just to be sure on the weight .

Roger. Maybe you are too strong. Your grippers bent your RGC. You bent a ttk.

Figured a way with working with the Thor I can’t grab it towards the end but I grab it about 2 3/4 “ lower from handle where you would normally grab a gripper .it feels harder then the k2 .400 so its fun for now.
