Great episode. I would agree with the finger injury stuff, the best way to heal avascular tissue has to include light movement and sport specific active recovery. Tendons don't get direct blood flow so the only mechanism to move nutrients into them are physical movement and massage. I've done single finger curls with miniscule weights to recovery tendon injuries, also rice bucket work and daily contrast baths.
