The 2018 Southern Squeeze GRIP Competition
Saturday, January 13th @ 9AM

Location: The Southern Squeeze, 2517B Nolensville Pk., Nashville, TN 37211

8-930am: Weigh ins

9am - Sign in

930am - Rules

10am - Go Time! The FUN begins!

WEIGHT DIVISIONS

  • Mens: Lightweight (80kg-), Middleweight (105kg-), Heavyweight (105kg+)
  • Womens: Open
  • Junior's: 15 and under
  • Masters: 50+ 

Scoring: Reverse Strongman Scoring

EVENTS:

1 - 20mm Blockset Grippers (4 attempts)

2 - 1-Hand Flask Pinch (4 attempts, rising bar)

3 - 2.5" Trilobite (4 attempts, rising bar)

Optional Post-awards Medley Event:

1 run, 24 assorted implements in 3 levels, unlimited attempts in 60 seconds, lifts worth 1-3 points

WHAT SWAG DO I GET? All competitors receive a Southern Squeeze T-shirt. Trophies and prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each class. 

ENTRY: $25 ………...                 $30 entry fee for late registration - after 12/19/17

GO GET REGISTERED for The 2018 Southern Squeeze Grip Competition. Registration is super simple, takes just a minute, and helps me out a lot with organizing and promoting. Thanks, y'all.

For reference peeps...Igor Kupinsky's World Record 2.5" Crusher pull is just a 1lb heavier (224.43/102.01).

Absolutely no doubt about that. I have been saying for 6 months, that in my opinion, he is the best gripster in the world. Just starting out and getting stronger and stronger. I hope someday soon Tanner tries the ATB and Hornetop from Griptopz- He will have many, many records

Yes, it's Durniat level of grip insanity on him soon. Having such a high base strength on both grippers and thick bar at the same time is mind blowing.
