Volko Krull
Hi folks, I would like to hear your opinions on the following issue: How strong and muscular can a person of a certain skeletal structure become without accumulating a lot of bodyfat? I have noticed that virtually all the top-level competitive strongmen are not only highly muscular, but also carry around with them a fair amount of bodyfat. This seems to be a necessary condition to be that strong. Now, is this actually so? Or is it possible to develop the musculature and strength that is possible for your individual skeleton to the maximal degree without acquiring a lot of bodyfat? What do you think? Kind regards, Volko
Climber028
Yea, look at Olympic weight lifters or high level gymnasts. Strong men are large because at the highest level there is no weight class so you don't have to worry about being able to cut weight. It takes an insane amount of food to fuel the amount of muscle on the top competitors and it wouldn't be possible to eat 10,000 calories a day without having some extra fat
