Ball bearing lift, awesome and really painful at the same time.  No medley?

No medley this time. Main reason is that I might not run the contest at my place (due to growing attendance) and it would be a major pain to lug all of the stuff to another location.

So pumped for this, great looking contest Eric! I'm honored that the dubecube will be featured. Also, this will be my first recurring contest!

This contest will be run using a Last Man Standing format. The only exception is the dynamometer event for which the score will be determined by the best of three attempts.

I really like that you have the Dynamometer as an event. Test of crush strength without the technical side of setting and you don't need a million grippers which have unique characteristics (width, knurling etc) or large jumps.

Yep. It’s also very quick to run. Helps in a contest that features several events.

Its also probably the fairest and most accurate way to test people on crush. I'm looking into purchasing a home in the future and running a contest again. I may have this in a future contest.

Your events also look like a blast Eric. Maybe one day I can make it out.

Upon further consideration, a 30-item medley has been added as a final event to the contest. I've acquired lots of fun goodies this year that are just begging to be featured in a medley!

Medley details will be posted by the end of December.

What purpose are the holes in the pinch blocks? Never seen that before.

I'm assuming you mean the holes in the 2" block. They serve no purpose. This was salvaged steel.

Thanks for contributing these great prizes, Andrew!

My pleasure Eric, I hope this contest continues to grow! Do you think this will be a record attendance?
