R.I.P. Gabriel Ban

I'm very saddened to say that today we have lost a great armwrestler and grip athlete. According to this Romanian news article a friend posted on Facebook, Gabriel Ban was killed today in an auto accident. Rest in peace, Gabriel.

Edit: It appears that there are two European grip athletes named Gabriel. This unfortunately does not make it any better that a life was lost in a such a tragic way.

Nope Gabriel Sum is German.

Sad when people die in auto-accidents still to this day. I can't say I'm surprised, having been in many eastern european countries, roads can be very, very bad and if you're not careful it's easy to have an accident.

I too did not recognize his name.  And google did not tell me much.

Sorry for his family's loss but maybe someone could post something about Gabriel...
