Gary Brown
I'm wondering how the top guys train grippers. I can't find much in the workout section. I used Kta before but forgot how it goes. Anyway, I use 4 grippers. Any easy one for reps. A second one for singles. A third in a chocker. And the forth is one that I can't close in the chocker. I work my way up to the forth one and do three attempts. Then I get the third one at least 3 times. I do the second one at least 3 times then I do 3 sets of 8 or 10 with the first one. I finish with about 7 sets of wrist curls. I hit it about every 3rd day but my progress I'm disappointed in. Please help.
Chez
I made a video detailing how I train grippers if you want to check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJZ6x65HHDc

Fist of Fury
You should check out the "the grip well", you might find some useful information in there. It's located in the Grip FAQ section.
KapMan
@Jedd Johnson has a book on this and developed a gripper training method called candence based training. Im not a top guy but i went from barely closing a rgc 127 to quite possible in the 160s using just reps.

IvankoGripper
I can't beat the IVANKO factory instructs: 10-15 reps x 3+ sets, 2x week. A good general training protocol for any exercise IMO.
