Mike Rinderle
https://youtu.be/bOZTmy-J9BI Had a double in me, but felt a sharp twinge in my right hip at the start of rep two, so I aborted. Need to stay healthy to set the MD 50-54 Raw State Record in September. It's 501. Also want to see if I can get back to 600 before I turn 51 next year.

Mike Rinderle
Haha! Been fighting the urge for a while. Started back 3 months ago and 415 was pretty much my max after taking off almost 4 years. Decided I didn't want to be that guy... yet. jvance
Nice pulling. Question... why do you have the collars on the inside? Is it to create more flex in the bar?

Is it to create more flex in the bar? No, it's so the plates don't hit the band pegs on my rack when I do band pulls. I wish it would flex, but this bar is pretty stiff. Or I'm just not pulling enough weight yet. Haha I'm just too lazy to take em on n off.

I doubt I'd pull much more than that right now 😂 450 top!

Which is why you are shooting for a potential state record. And I'm nowhere near any deadlift records!

Yes, still quite attached to deadlifting. Placed second in my class at the 2016 German Deadlift Championships, 270kg (equipped) at around 111kg. Only 30kg behind the class winner... Right now I'm preparing for a powerliftingcomp at the end of september. I hope you get your 600lbs and stay injury free!
Mike Rinderle
That's a huge pull at 111kg. Keep me updated on how the comp goes!

Mike Rinderle
440 x 7 Had I not been too lazy to take my sleeves off after box squats I might have gotten more. Then again, making it harder through my sticking point is never a bad thing.

David_wigren
Light weight compare to you bud, but I don't mind lifting in your shadow! This is just 190 kg but with an overhand grip and no chalk. 195 kg would definitely have been possible, maaaaybe also 200 kg but my grip was starting to fail and my form was starting to break down so I stopped at 190. Next month I'll make a shot at 200 and hopefully 220 by the end of the year 🤘
Mike Rinderle
Great DO pull buddy! You get extra points for being able to lift more than 100kg with that song playing! Edited July 23, 2017 by Mike Rinderle
