Giving bending another go. Got lots of irongrip bars, bastards and red nails to get through. If my old thread could be closed, would be great!

At my best last time round i could bend a bastard in singles so see how i progress this time

Current plan work through irongrip bars once i can bend in singles i will move up a bar.

Todays bend was IG120 in bb wraps felt about 350-360lbs maybe. Build a strong base and get back up to bending bastards in singles!

Todays bending, bare in mind I was slightly hungover and my upper body still in agony from chest the other day. Hit some good bends today

IG120kg in bb wraps (355lbsish)

IG130kg in bb wraps (385lbsish) pr since comeback.

Kink took 4 hits and crush took 3 hits so 7 in total.

Finished off with wobbling a red nail in singles

Squats later!

  • 1 month later...

Been training just very busy lately with life, having to redo 7000 words for university has drained me.

Bench press:

60kg x 5

70kg x 5

80kg x 5

90kg x 5

95kg x 5

100kg x 4

100kg x 5 groove felt good on this one, elbows tucked in. go for 6 reps next session

90kg x 3 x 3

All reps paused

Then bent a red nail to finish off with..now back to my essays.

Quick update..nearly finished my degree. Been training powerlifting a lot the last year or so, bulked up from 68kg to 85kg.

Current max lifts-

Deadlift: 220kg

Squat: 160kg

Bench: 130kg

strict barbell press: 90kg

Push press: 100kg

May give a red nail a go at some point, a lot stronger than I was a year ago when I could bend them within a minute.
