Possible SuperMedley in Phoenix Fall 2017

Folks,

We were kicking around the idea on the Facebook a few days ago.  I am thinking of putting on a one-event supermedley in the November time frame here at my house (Phoenix area).  This would just be a 1-event contest.  Most points for a given timeframe (probably 10 minutes) takes it.  Afterwards, we'd have something to eat, and do lifts for the feats boards, etc.

Thinking is that a lot of us like medleys, but they make regular contests long.  We haven't done one in AZ for about 4-5 years.  Preliminary list is below, and just to make it fair, people could bring anything else they wanted to, to add to the mix.

If people are interested, please leave a comment.  If we get enough interest, I will put together more details.  Note that this is not to encroach on or impede Griptoberfest that Aaron puts on in October.

Thanks,

Martin

Have a bunch of different style hubbing plates with various levels of challenge, Inch DB, FBBC Anvil, Blob, and pinching the 2x Gibsons is about as tough as 2 deep dish yorks. Same width at 4" and not fitting together well. Lots of other toys as well. Saxon bar pinch clean or snatch could be fun as well.

If we get the Inch's reunited, it will be a rare chance for people to come and do the double Inch DB deadlift.

I have one of David D's Gibsons.  I could borrow the other one, and then people could try a double Gibson pinch lift.

We would also have double blob lift.
