New to bending technique check

Been bending for around a month now. I have found I am prefering DO. Once the bends get to near max i orefer to kink Alt thengo back to DO i have attached some you tube clips of my work out. They are both 1/4 crs one is 6" one is 7"

I am using cut out sectionsof a life jacket bladder for pads at the momet my IMP should arrive next week

you're chicken winging a bit at the start, but your kink finish looks ok.  Also you should put the rubber band on the part of the wraps covering the nail, not only on the part of the wraps hanging off the nail.  Keep watching videos and tweaking it and it will come together.

Here's one of my first bends, blue nail (1/4"×6") looks similar to yours.

Here's one after I figured a few things out, 5/16×7 hot rolled, it's considerably easier than cold rolled.

Key points are try to bring elbows more forward than down, keep in as straight a line as possible. Point the pinky side of your hand out/forward a bit instead of straight down, that will help. At the start, shrug your shoulders up and together, start to put force into the bar, and then push your shoulders out to the side using the muscles in your upper back, this helps get your elbows moving forward. Hope that makes sense.
