Fist of Fury
Wow, fördjävla stark dotter du har. Kollade på NAGS-listan och hon är ju redan uppe i toppen där om hon skulle tävla.

Mikael Siversson
First max out in 2018. She has just started training grippers. It will be one of four events at the next LGC competition in June 2018. No PR in the axle this time (her training pr is 92kg) but she pulled 88kg quite easily. The ladies class record in her weight class is 97.81 kg. Great pinch workout though (class record in the 72k class is 54.20 kg) with new PRs.

Mikael Siversson
Shawna and I are back in training. We have a few ideas for the next LGC competition based on what we learned this year: (1) back to flying business class for the long leg going to Sweden so we can get some proper sleep on the plane. Not exactly cheap but it sucks so badly having to compete totally drained from jetlag so its still worth it; (2) arriving 4 days before the comp instead of 3; (3) making new Euro plates. Arne's set up we used have edges that are too rounded, lacking the 'bite' you get with sharper edges; (4) having Arne cleaning the plates a month before the competition and then doing a few pinch workouts applying fresh chalk. There is not much to do with the poor temperature/humidity conditions and this is much the same problem competitors are faced with in US summer competitions such as the nationals/Jedd's summer competitions. Its no coincidence that most 2HP records have been set at Chris Rice's competitions. I probably lost 2.5-5k in the axle as well by grabbing the bar some 10cm wider than I normally do (brain not working properly because of jetlag). Instead of training once a week Shawna is now training every 4 days. We started easy and Shawna did 5 singles with 78k in the axle and 5 singles with 47k in the pinch.
