Is it too much to ask you to post a pic of that Schmidt plate.  Is it in some of your Instagram vids?

Nvm I found your plates in a google search.

The forearm/elbow and hand must remain in contact with the floor throughout the motion of supination or pronation. Losing contact between is acceptable.

If possible, I'd like to see a video demonstration of this, just to make sure I understand and train correctly for it.

I think David Wigren posted a video of a strict pronation/supination event they did in Sweden, but I will make a video if I cannot find it.

I know the video you referred to.  Is it essentially a replica of that execution? I believe it was on a table, correct?

Here is the link to Wigren's video:

Sorry for all the questions.

Also wondering if we'll be using the blocks, as in the video above as well. Thanks.

Not sure I have ever seen anyone truly keep their hand down - it always raises somewhat - especially when pronating.

True, not even in the video above.

Shout out to Jared G. owner of Mammoth Grip tools. Having his implements represented so well at NAGS is quite an achievement in such a short time and testament to his high-quality craftsmanship.

Will the supination/pronation challenge be done with a short handle like in the video or with a sledgehammer?

No blocks. Directly on the floor.

The judge won't be laying on the floor watching for any gap between the hand, so as long as it looks like it's on the floor, it will pass.

Short handle.

I also want to thank @climber511 for heading up the medley generation. I meant to mention that when I posted the items. Maria and I really just made some logistical changes and other minor tweaks.

Thanks for the info on the rotation.  If you can post a video of a 75% or harder effort, sometime, that'd be great.

I also was curious what thumb positioning is going to be permitted on the hub, whether more like IronMind rules or hooked thumb.  Thanks.

For those of us mathematically challenged (ME) - what's the handle length and the weight on the end to get the numbers quoted?

I'll try to post a video tomorrow.

Any hub technique is fine as long as you are grasping the hub.

The approximate distance from the center of the handle to the center of the loading area is 1ft. That way 10ft-lbs is 10lbs on the device. By comparison, a 4lb sledge with a 31" handle is about 10ft-lbs as well.

So, that was 10lbs added.  Is that the 10-ft/lbs for the women?

Yeah, It felt about the same as my 4lb sledge. I have wimpy wrists. I'm gonna consult with Maria and see if we need to tweak the women's weight a tad.
