Just for fun I wanted to try some heavy biceps dumbbell curl today with the 32.5 kg / 72 lbs dumbbells. There's definitely a bit of cheating involved, at least in the last few reps, but I'm still pretty happy with it since I don't see many being able to do this at my gym. I'll try to do a strict curl video some time, starting with supinated hands as well. Here's the video:

I have done a little bit of grip training the last few days; once with the Fat Gripz and reverse biceps curl with a barbell. Also, a couple of random reps with grippers.

OK, so for some very strange reason, my 55 seconds long biceps curl video is blocked world wide. If you turn the volume up a lot you hear a song in the background, which I guess was enough for it to get blocked (?). Will try to fix this.

EDIT: Put in some random music over the video from a list YT provide, it should work now.

CoC 1 x 10 MMS reps.

CoC 2 x 5 MMS reps.

CoC 2.5 x 4 MMS/deep reps right hand, 2 reps left hand.

CoC 2 x 15 MMS reps right hand, 13 reps left hand.

CoC 2.5 - Hold attempt for 10 seconds (I actually didn't close it fully).

CoC 2 x 8 MMS reps.

CoC 1 x 40 MMS reps.

Also tried a bit of plate pinching (they didn't have good plates at this gym, though; different gym than I usually go to) and a simple dead hang.

Random video today of CoC 2 MMS 28 reps (or 29 if you count the last one that didn't really touch). For some reason the video seems a bit faster than the set was in reality, not by much though:

Did some gripper and Fat Gripz work today but I was a bit distracted since I was working out with a friend I usually don't train with. I did a few sets with GHP 5 and 6 and CoC 2 mostly.

GHP 6 x 7 MMS reps (new record). Did a couple of sets doing as many reps as I could, down to 2-3 reps.

Did some Fat Gripz dumbbell rows as well + some wrist curls.

Came back from a trip to Iceland yesterday. I've not done any type of exercise except walking for about a week. My right wrist kinda hurts for some reason but it's getting a bit better. Did this just now, no chalk and pretty tired:

CoC 1 x 10 MMS.

Monster Hunter 3 x 5 CCS.

MH 3 x 5 with 30mm block.

MH 3 x 5 with 20mm block.

MH 4 x very short hold.

CoC 1.5 x 5 CCS.

CoC 1.5 x 20 mms.

I feel like I've not made a lot of progress in quite a while but I'm not in a hurry. Felt good today though and managed this during my workout (gripper work inbetween doing other stuff), only using CoC 2:

RH: 9 sets x 10 MMS reps.

LH: 8 sets x 10 MMS reps and then 1 set x 6-7 MMS reps.

I then did a hold set for maybe 20-30 seconds with both hands, and lastly a over crush set for a few seconds.

Got a new HG300 the other day rated 148 by Cannon and managed to close it today on video. It was a slightly more narrow set than MMS but you can't really see it in the video before I close the gripper, unfortunately. I'll record another one some other day. I also show a left hand attempt but I couldn't quite do it.

Got the Silver Bullet a while back but haven't used it much except tried it briefly. Today I managed ~22 seconds with the CoC 2.5 using a 2.5 kg / 5.5 lbs plate, right hand. Feels kinda awkward but I'll try for 25-30+ later.

Overall I feel kinda weak lately since I've been trying to eat a bit less and I've lost about 4-5 kg.

Yesterday:

CoC T x 10 TNS reps.

CoC 2.5 x 1 MMS reps.

CoC 2.5 x 4 MMS reps.

CoC 2.5 x 2 MMS reps.

CoC 2.5 x 1 MMS reps.

CoC 2.5 - Failed MMS.

I then did some other gym stuff and grip related things, like reversed barbell curl, bit of plate pinch, and wrist roller (which I've barely done before). When I got home I did some more gripper work:

CoC 2 x Many mini reps.

CoC 1.5 x 10 TNS reps.

CoC 1 x 13-15 TNS reps.

I recently got myself a new CoC 2.5 rated by Cannon at 122 lbs and a GHP 7 at 144 lbs, so both relatively low rated. I happy to say I managed this today (first time training in two weeks because of a stubborn cold too, so probably not at 100 %!):

(I should start bringing a notebook or something because some of this, like the order or amount of sets, might not be totally accurate.)

CoC 1 x 5 MMS reps.

CoC 2.5 x 1 CCS reps right hand and 2 reps left hand. The set was probably bad with the right hand.

GHP 7 - MMS failed both hands, pretty close though, especially with right hand, but the set was really bad and weird (right hand).

GHP 7 x 1 MMS/deep rep with right hand (yay!) and failed left hand.

GHP 7 - Failed MMS/deep set.

CoC 2.5 x 1 CCS reps.

Spectrum Narrow 135 RGC x 3 MMS reps with right hand (almost 4) and 2 reps left hand.

CoC 2.5 x 6 MMS reps (5 with left?).

CoC 2.5 x 5 MMS reps.

CoC 1 x 20 TNS reps.

And by the way, of course I'll be making a video soon of similar sets!

Thanks Chez! Feels nice to be able to do something relevant with a GHP 7, even if it's an easier one.

Another excuse here but yesterday I had to move a bunch of heavy boxes in the attic and lift some stuff to an outside container, so my grip was probably a little bit tired when I got to the gym. I still did some gripper work though so here's a video (video is muted):

GHP 7 attempt - Not sure if I closed it, I was probably a little bit off.

CoC 2.5 CCS with left.

CoC 2.5 MMS 10 reps left.

CoC 1 ~70+ deep and fast reps. Kinda silly but I wanted to try it.

Been doing more cardio recently and eating slightly less, feel a bit weaker. Took my CoC 1.5 to the gym and used it during some sets, so in total:

MMS 5 x 5.

TNS 5 x 5.

Deep mini reps 1 x 30?

First time training in 12 days today (christmas is 24th over here btw). Been a bit sick and busy but damn, my GHP 6 has never felt this easy so the rest was really good to me:

CoC 1.5 x 5 MMS reps.

GHP 6 x 15 mini/deep reps.

GHP 6 x 10 MMS reps (R) and 7 reps (L).

GHP 6 x 15 mini/deep reps (R) and 10-11 reps (L).

CoC 2.5 RGC 122 x 4-5 MMS reps (R) and 2 reps (L). Those GHP 6 sets really made me weak on this set.

GHP 5 x 8 MMS reps (R) and 6 reps (L).

CoC 1.5 x 4-5 TNS reps (R) and 4 reps (L).

CoC 1.5 x 7-8 wide reps.

Felt really strong!
