richcottrell
so i jumped in and got 2 of the filed and rated grippers while Matt still had the sale going on. I got a CoC2 and a CoC2.5. The filed CoC2 came in at 114lbs the filed CoC2.5 came in at 141lbs with that in mind, could I assume the CoC2 if it were not filed would be around a 109ish gripper, and that CoC2.4 would have been 136ish if it also was not filed? Either way, the two are filed basically identically to the eye. Looks like Matt has a real consistent service he is offering. I have not got a chance to train them yet... That filed CoC2.5 is a few years away, but that filed CoC2 might be just outside of where I will be at in a few months if i ever get back to working them. fort now, it is sleep time

Though the 108 is a left turn gripper. I have a CoC 2 that I filed and it rates at like 120 ish.
Cannon
I think your pre-filing estimates are close, but of course there is no way to know.
Fist of Fury
Nice file job. I just got a 2.5 filed to 142. Looks and feels really good, I was able to close it surprisingly easy without chalk despite not having trained anything with grippers for almost two months. Can't wait to start doing singles and holds with this gripper. Will definitely buy more rated and filed grippers in the future.
