Grippers this morning before work. Complete garbage today, my crush was very weak so I sized down the grippers. 8 30MM set closes with 5sec holds

Migraines and joint pain in full effect today, was nauseated the entire session and not recovered from the steel bend and painting prep done yesterday.

Woke up with less of a headache but feel like I got ran over by a tank. Energy levels way down.

@richcottrell Here is a video my friend Marcus made for them. It's a competitive movement in the Indian traditional games. They will use 30-35kg bells in training and compete with 40kg.

Thanks for that video on the Indian style DB swings.   While I have seen videos of those being done in India, I never looked into the whole reasoning behind them.   I had basically written off the whole exercise as stupid.    now after watching Marcus's video, I feel informed.   Not as silly as I thought    Not at all  

Next time I am around fixed weight Dumbbells I will have to give them a try.

Marcus has put a TON of time into studying tradition sport in India, definitely my go to when I want to discuss it. They are worth the effort imo.

 

Today: Definitely beat up, joint pain etc so an easy day.

Easy 60d bend. This was complete ad-lib as todays was not a bend day.

One set of 30 Meel turns

Shut it down. My body is trash right now, migraines are killing me with the stormy weather and I am not recovering at all.

Migraine broke for now so today went better. Not recovered yet but my body actually listens to me.

Took our daughter to the NC state parade today.

Quick stuff. Over head walks with a single 28kg KB. Some Meel work.

4 sets of 5sec holds with 2" crusher. Single set of 5 reps.

2" Crusher work. L forearm is still pissed and likely will be for awhile. Soreness but not direct pain doing these.
