Periscope is another option for streaming. Doesn't cut out as much as FB live does. Live streaming is something we should look into heavily. Congrats to all the winners!! Some kick ass lifting happened and It was fun to watch.

@anwnate Thanks.  The Diesel Award is something we first started at GGC 2004.  It's voted on by the competitors, for who they thought had the most inspiring performance.  You might remember Chris Rice has a similar award that he did at Gripmas last year.  I believe he won the Diesel Award at GGC 2005.

As far as the streaming, I've tried it in several comps over the years, but my internet is horrible out here in PA.  Andrew's was better, but I have no idea why it kept shutting off.  I only stopped the feed once, by accident.  All other times, I just looked at the camera and it was black.  No idea as to why.

NAGS 2016 was easily the most nervous I have been for a comp in years.  I have been very busy with business and family, and my training was not as dialed in for this comp, as a result.

Thanks to Andrew for hosting/promoting and getting the results up so quickly.  Also want to thank Paul Knight for letting us stay at his house and for judging the grippers.

I'm having trouble with the footage from the first 3 events, so I thought I'd go ahead and begin posting the footage from the 4th event, the Sledge Floor Rotation.

As a reminder, a repetition with the 8lb Sledge was worth 1 point, a rep with the 6-lb Sledge was worth .5 points.

Also, each time you rotated the hammer from one side to the other was considered a rep.  You didn't need to go pronation, then supination, then pronation.  You could hit multiple pronation or multiple supination, and you could switch hands as you liked.

Rules / Demonstration

I'm not seeing results from NAGS on the top 100 website. Has anyone entered them yet?

I want to thank Jared for entering the results for the promoters of this comp as a volunteer without being asked. Thank you for volunteering. I just finished checking them in.
