Fist of Fury
Really difficult for me to cope with the heat. Can't get anything done, I just don't function well at all with the sun in the sky for 12+ hours every day. I just wish it could start to rain for the rest of the summer. Getting a bit stronger at plate lifts. I can feel improvement, it's not much but any improvement is welcome. It will take a long time to be strong at this. Definitely one of the harder exercises you can do. Tried to bend a few rebars I found, I can bend them at 180 mm but I can't bend them when they are shorter nor longer anymore. Fist of Fury
Bunch of plate curls. getting stronger. Some gripper attempts, closed chrome spring lvl 17 with left hand. Lvl 15 with right hand. Also made a good attempt on my very hard #3. Only a few mm's from closing it so I think I'm making improvement there as well. Maybe I don't need a lighter #3 to be able to keep my streak of closing the #3. Probably going to get one anyways just to be sure. Also bent some rebar, I have a few pieces left which I will bend. Rest of them are really short so it's going to get difficult for me. I will bend them as far as I can.
Fist of Fury
Found out that I actually had 4 m of rebar left which I didn't know about. Guess I'm going to bend it until it's all gone. Can work with 7 kg on the leverage block now. So I'm still making improvements. Worked a bit with a sledge yesterday and did some DO bends. Brick lifts has stagnated, however I have barely been able to train it for the last two weeks. At least my previous max is very easy now. So hopefully I'll be able to do 20 kg pretty soon with some training. Grippers are really hit or miss, one day it's under 140# and the other day it's above 150#. I guess that is the way it should be when I don't train them.
Fist of Fury
21/08/06 WD2 Barehanded Sets of 10 reps up to 3-3 Then 5 reps at 4-4 1 rep at 5-5 but stopped there because I was going to tear my skin. Reverse bending Not a bend, just tried 8 mm rebar to see how it felt, didn't move at all was too painful. I actually think I still have the strength to bend these but I just don't have the pain tolerance to sustain the hit, nor do I have the will power to train it. Grippers Few attempts with GM spring at max, 1 mm from closing it. One attempt with hard #3, 4-5 mm from closing it. Two closes with 10 second hold with BTR Vulcan at 9-9 Orange spring. Might actually be able to close the #3 on a good day but I have to buy high end chalk to even have a chance though. Some extensor work also and some 1.5" block set closes with Vulclan up to Level 12 Chrome spring.
Fist of Fury
21/08/08 Haven't trained plate curls or pinch since last saturday. Got some pain from it. Doesn't hurt that much but I probably need some rest from it, for a week or two. Will do something other in the meanwhile. Today was: Grippers Filed Vulcan up to 6-6 Orange spring: 3x15 reps. Then normal vulclan Chrome spring lvl 6 with GHP block - 10 reps Some light biceps training. Bent two rebars 8x180 mm, first one with pads at 6 cm and I managed to bend it, crush was hard. Then I tried with pads at 4 cm which is what I normally do and I didn't have any power left to crush it. Not surprised, last time I tested my bench press I couldn't even bench my own bodyweight. Which is kinda sad. Could do around 120 kg close grip a year ago, now I probably have to roll off 90 kg on my stomac. It's crazy how much strength you can lose if you don't have the health. Can't even deadlift 140 kg now.

Fist of Fury
Did some grippers, some wrist wrench lifts and some 1HP. New 1HP goal is to reach 40 kg. I think the most I've done with one hand was 37 or 38, don't remember exactly. Wrist wrench is trashing my hands really hard. I will stick to other wrist training, WW doesn't feel safe at any weight for me. This is how it looks like when you've sold most of your grip stuff. Then you need to get back to something simple. Sledge, Home-made aluminum finger trasher, parasol base stand, wooden pinch block, wooden plate leverage block, some plates and some bricks, plus a bunch of other plates to plate curl. New goals: Lift all seven bricks of that size (around 20 kg) Strict curl the parasol base (15 kg) Strict Curl Eleiko 15 kg plate Strict curl a bigger outdoor plate 1HP 40 kg with any type of pinch block Close a #3 before the the years end
Fist of Fury
21/08/18 Tried Silver Bullet today. haven't done it since febuary I think. I got 20 seconds with my hard #3. For SB this is even harder since it has no knurling to speak of. So I did better than I expected. Also did some sledge levers and some plate curls with leverage block, nothing to log just a few reps for a few sets. I need to get in to it more again. I feel this is like DO bending, once I rest for a while I totally lose the feeling to do it. Need to get it going again. Also did deadhangs. 1:30 total. BW 87 kg. I might order a Standard gripper in the 190's to train SB again. But that would be after I can close a #3 again. I did a mistake last time I trained SB. The #4 I used which I was fairly close to setting once was not at all a lighter #4 as I thought. I have a #212 rated gripper (thanks to whoever sent it to me ) which I thought was harder but it turns out the gripper I used was a really hard #4, around #220. I might try to train for the #212 gripper again.

Fist of Fury
21/08/31 DO Bending 8x180 HRS Rebar 8x180 non HRS rebar 8x180 CRS x 2 Feels like my bending strength is slowly coming back. Double overhand that is. I had to bend the hard rebar really off set because I had it kinked to 20 degrees with reverse style 8-9 months ago. Can't believe I did that, if I'd try now I would probably start crying. I still have pain in my hand and pinky knuckle in my RH from plate lifts. I have a feeling it will take me years before I even get a decent amount of strength in that discipline. I will keep working at it but it might outlast this log, pretty sure it will take a really long time for me.

Fist of Fury
21/09/03 Grippers Few attempts with #3 L&R GM Spring 133-135~ 20 mm block set LH: 2, 2, 1. RH: 8x3 21/09/06 Some more attempts with the #3. Got it down under 1 mm but that was the best I could do. Good to know I can close #3's. Just not this one, right now. I think it's almost a year ago since I closed it. Looking back now this gripper is actually much harder than the 158# rated #3 I had a year ago. I could do 3 reps with that gripper and I was struggling to close this #3. I underestimated this gripper a lot when I was able to reps with it. It's actually much harder than I thought it was. It's because it has no knurling, you don't get any grip on it. Takes away so much strength from you. I should have signed up for MM2 immediately after MM1 actually. This #3 is probably just as hard as the MM2, if not at least very close to it. Then covid came and I lost most of my strength, so I never really got the chance. Did some curls with leverage block. Made a new block which is 40 cm long instead of the old one which was 35 cm. When I get time I will make some out of aluminum, it will be more durable. The wood breaks after a while when you use them a lot. This block feels about 10-15% harder when I tried it. I did a few singles with 6 kg added, felt similar to 7 kg with the old block. Also did some thumbless deadlifts.

Fist of Fury
21/09/09 Face pull, lat pull, row machine, close grip bench, tricep machine. 21/09/11 Some WU with sledge hammer DO Bending WU with some easier bars which I had bent reverse. 8x160 mm Grade 8.8 bolt, prebent to 10 cm. crush attempt in doubles thin suedes, no movement. 6x150 mm Grade 12.9 bolt, prebend to around 20 deg, finished it off in single thin suedes. 8x150 mm hard rebar in double thin suedes. bent to 10 cm, couldn't crush it further, these are almost as hard as the 8.8 bolt to kink, probably significantly easier to crush tho. I have bent these at this lenght once before in single horrido leathers, as far as I can remember. 8x180 mm HRS rebar attempted in single thin suedes, a bit too harsh on the index fingers. Pretty sure I could have done this 7-8 months ago, but I never tried.
Fist of Fury
Bought a #3 to try. What do I get? A mutant #3 of course, minimum 158 lbs. 80 mm spread, chest crushed it 40 times and oiled the spring. The spread shrunk to 77 mm. It still feels just as hard as my double stamped #3. Actually slightly harder and the knurling is very bad for being a new gripper as well. Will have to buy a lower rated #3 if I want to complete my goal of closing one this year. Highly doubt I will close a hard #3 ever again. I need to lift weights to be able to do that and unfortunately I can't do that anymore.
