Living Legends

Open contest showcasing 4 new events inspired by and developed with assistance by the top athletes in the sport of Grip. Each of the four Legends will be attempting to set the world record in an event that they inspired and competing for the overall win. Come out and see how you compare to the best in the sport and perhaps surpass them.

The first event will be the even thicker Andrew’s Axle. A massive 2 3/8” bar that will test our athletes thick bar skill to the max.

Next up is the Glass Bar. Made to the specifications of Adam Glass; a full size 7 foot pinch barbell at 2.5” thick.

Kody Burns has been breaking anvil records the past 3 years and in an effort to stump him. We have cast a replica of a Jowett anvil horn and made it plate loadable to see what the real max an anvil can be lifted to.

Last but not least we have the Blob master Jedd “Napalm” Johnson showcasing the new and improved FBBC Blob simulator 2.0.

Sweet if I can do it, I'd like to do both classes. Because why not!? Is that possible?

I have to think on that one. There runs the risk of you being called to two platforms at the same time.

True, I didn't think of that. Probably better I lessen the bite on the sandwich and go with just open.

Open Class Prize is done. A custom 2.25" Stainless Steel Crusher. The picture doesn't do this justice. If you planning to compete in the open class let us know. It would be cool to get a feel for the field of competition.

Will depend on my trips to Disney and New Jersey this summer.  Dates will probably be finalized by second week of June

Anyone on the East Coast that might want to go, I have access to a pull-behind camper.  We could make it happen, if you want to throw in.

What is the entry cut off?

10 AM August 13th. I'll happily have you right up to the last minute. I'm looking to get the timing from the shirt printer so I can finalize the last date you can get a contest shirt.

If you going to be a 50/50 just let me know. I understand work, Kids, Family ect. But getting a close-ish head count helps me plan out a ton.

Unfortunately, the pull-behind camper that I thought I had access to is no longer available, BUT I have lots of friends who own them, and I'm gonna look into borrowing or renting one.
