jvance
Doing those bounce reps definitely have helped my pinching over the years. At this point, however, I don't know if it's pure strength it builds or if it's simply helping establish more of a mind/muscle connection. When I first started doing them I was under 90 lbs 1hp, however, a month or two down the road i was mini repping over 90 and it quickly brought my max over 100. Cannon
That's good to know! I like them because I can do them down on 1 knee which is easier on my back. Gym workout. 8x5 pull-ups. 4 sets hanging from 1-1/2" vertical bars. 3x10 push ups. Biceps and triceps with dumbbells. Levering with 6# body bar. Boat loads of reps with light weight on leg extension and leg press.
bencrush
It's good to see you logging again, Matt! Sorry to hear about the back, too. I have battled a slipped disk or two and it sucks.

Cannon
Hows the back been? Horrible. I am walking with a hitch today. I've pretty much made up my mind to get surgery in 2016. It will be a two level fusion. They'll remove the two discs causing me cronic pain (L4/L5/S1), replace with chunks of cadaver bone, then screw and plate it all together. Cannon
Sooo.... heh..... In true Matt Cannon fashion, I have scarcely worked out once since 12/17. Some gripper closes here and there and that's it. Foot surgery happened on 12/31 and recovery is going well. I can walk pretty well in a boot. I still have a rod sticking out of my toe which should be removed today. This will make many activities easier because there won't be a concern of bumping it. Time to start logging some workouts again. Happy 2016 everyone.
