Today was gripper day. Did focus on CCS closes. Did manage to close 2,5 right hand but was 1mm away from shutting it fully with the lefty. Will be more specific in the future

Grippers went good! Felt awesome combining it with squats.

Did 5 reps with 20mm block on all grippers mentioned below.

Everything is done with both hands if not I write it.

#Plastic gripper

#Sport

#Trainer

#0.5

#1

#1.5

#filed1.5

RB160

#2

#2.5

Then went on to singles

#filed2.5

#3 got with ease with right hand.. Left hand some mm open so I cheated it shut with the other hand.

Did two more singles with #3 same resultat as above!

I could never do that much grip in a week.

I have to concentrate on 1-2 exercises if I want to progress.

Great benching, feet up and all.

Yeah, I will actually take away RT and forearms from the program and do Grippers 2 times a week then do plate Pinch and Pinch block with loading pinch 2 times a week. I've heard many stop progressing when doing both Rolling Thunder and grippers?

For most people fat bar kills gripper strength. I had to stop training with fat gripz extreme because of that!

Your program and progress looks solid though brother!

I think that's why at this moment I find it hard to progress at grippers. I do a lot of fat bar and also do the RT.

I think for a beginner it's better to focus on strengthening every part of grip to have a solid foundation to build on in the future.

Yepp. That's correct.

I've cut grippers out of my training for a long while.

Im chasing 100kg RT and 100kg 2h pinch atm.

Im 1kg away from reaching my goal on pinch!

Hoping to get it up next weekend!

I look at it like this;

I want a superstrong and complete grip strength.

Grippers dont contribute to that.

Most of your daily grip needs will be static in one way or another.

Very rarely do you need to use dynamic grip strength.

Also, to progress on grippers you kinda need to stop doing other exercises.

I can progress on wriststrength, pinch and thickbar at the same time.

Grippers is like the bastard lovechild of grip.

Its fun and its what got me into grip but it has to go for now,

Maybe I'll take it up in a diskant future, when I've reached my goals in the other exercises.
