Thanks, my man!

I just trained my Swedish 60mm revolving handle lefty (don’t want to aggravate my right elbow):

-broke my PR twice, finishing with 160.2

-then a couple long holds with about 10 pounds less

My side goal for the last month or so has been to deadlift the Inch.

I love snatch grip deads but fell in love with these.  Get you just as low, but easier on the wrists and thumbs. Also, the smaller 45s with the holes put you at a natural 1" deficit.  Give em a try and let me know how you like them.

Nice lift!  I've never tried those, but I like the idea of the handles.  Unfortunately, the only plates I have now are my Rogue powerlifting plates.

Holy repping dude! Hated reps as a youth and even more as 50 creeps up. Really good stuff.

I “like” them only slightly more now than in my younger days. Or maybe I just appreciate their value. 

The last three were ugly. Deep, but ugly. Couldn’t get any breath. Went and laid on my bed motionless for 15 minutes before my next set. 😆

Thank you! I have to skip this coming week due to a Colorado vacation, but when I get back I hope that paused set will have set me up for a 573x4 PR.

😆 I’ve got no idea who that skinny kid is. 

And wow, that was 11 years ago... 

I stole a second place finish at that Gripmas, behind Jedd, by virtue of my 100 pound plate hold for time. Definitely a case of coming from behind with the help of a pet event.

They work fairly well. Very close on squat and deadlift, but they seem a bit optimistic about my bench.  Guess I'm just better with the reps on bench. But as the reps lower the calculator gets closer.  So on a set of three for bench it might be within five or ten pounds.  Not bad.

For me bench and deads  are pretty close too as I’m not a repper. Squat is way off as I don’t have the VO2 to get the reps in haha!
