Still got it as well. Into week 3 now.

Wow. Yeah, this is an endurance record for my colds. My son came up here from out of town and got sick the day he arrived before ever seeing me. It’s like a plague.

I think this is the same thing that hit me earlier in the year for 8+ weeks. Luckily this isn’t in my forehead sinuses like then though.

8 weeks? That’s ridiculous! Mine is mainly chest congestion now. Fatigue.

Hope some mega-refeeds cure it.

I sure hope so.  At the moment it has the feel of one of those minor injuries that pesters you like a mosquito for weeks on end.

Bench

I’ve decided to drop 8-10 pounds and stay in the 105 class. I tried, but I just wasn’t putting on enough quality mass to warrant lifting in the 120 class.

Squat

75x5

75x7

105x5

High Bar (trying to work around this front and back knee injury)

135x5

155x10 PR!

Headed to Colorado Sunday, so I’ll miss some workouts, which is probably a good thing. I’ve figured this knee injury is something I’ve been working through for months now that I think about it, only the sensations were so subtle I paid it little attention. It seems to be, in part, a hamstring tendon injury on the back side. On the front all I know is I have to step up stairs very carefully.

Yeah... but now I can be your full-time coach at the meet! You might as well squat and deadlift for the both of us now. 😮💪🏻

Colorado Vacation Exercises

Lots of hiking. Unfortunately my knee is still hurting ascending stairs, depending how I step.

30 close-grip push-ups

9 pull-ups off the top of a wall (much harder than pull-ups off a bar)

20 dips off the corner of a deck railing

Last night was right arm dumbbell push-presses:

22x10

56x2x5

83x11

100x2
